*CASH Policy*
Effective January 1st, 2018

The Town of East Longmeadow has implemented a “No Cash Policy” other than the Collector / Treasurer’s Office.

If you would like to pay CASH, please, go to the Collector/Treasurer’s office first to pay and obtain a receipt for your transaction. 

Exception: Recreation Department transactions please go to the Recreation Department first to obtain a registration form.





The Collector is responsible for collection of real estate taxes, personal property taxes, motor vehicle excise taxes, boat excise taxes, water/sewer billing and other departmental accounts.
The Collector also researches and prepares Certificates of Municipal Liens.

The Town of East Longmeadow issues QUARTERLY Tax Bills based on a FISCAL year

The tax bills will be issued 30 days before they are due.

The due dates are as follows:

Quarter 1 due August 1st  
Quarter 2 due November 1st
Quarter 3 due February 1st 
Quarter 4 due May 1st

If the due date falls on a holiday or weekend, then the next business day will be the due date.

The 1st and 2nd Quarter bills are preliminary bills based on the previous fiscal year tax rate, where as the 3rd and 4th Quarter bills are actual bills based on the current fiscal year’s tax rate.

Payments after hours may be placed in the drop box located at the front of Town Hall in the doors facing the rotary.

Real Estate and Personal Property Taxes Online! Water/Sewer coming soon!

The Town of East Longmeadow offers electronic and paperless billing on your Real Estate and Personal Property bills. This feature provides an easy, green way to receive and pay your bills online. To utilize this functionality and sign up, please follow the steps below. 
**Access to prior bills images are available in your UniPay Account from the time of enrollment!          
1) Go to East Longmeadow’s website: https://www.eastlongmeadowma.gov/     

                2) Click on: Bill Pay on the bottom of the website and select the bill you wish to pay link

3) Complete each screen to process your payment; when you add to cart Click on the https://admin.unibank.com/userfiles/image/leaf2.png to sign up for paperless billing

Electronic Payment from Checking, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX and VISA

Please be aware that when paying with a credit card, there is an additional fee charged by the Credit Card Service Provider.  In addition, there is a 25¢ charge per transaction for ACH payments.

It is convenient, fast and secure.

Payment History

The Collector’s Office encourages you to save all your tax receipts; these will be needed to file your yearly Federal and State Taxes.

If you have misplaced your receipts, you may request a payment summary from the Collector’s office by email. Email your request to collector@eastlongmeadowma.gov, make sure to include your full name and property address also, please, specify what bill information you are inquiring about.

Requests are processed in the order of receipt.  We will process all requests at our earliest convenience, normally within 5-7 business days.
