TOWN OF EAST LONGMEADOW, MASSACHUSETTS

INVITATION FOR BIDDERS:

The Town of East Longmeadow, Board of Public Works the awarding authority, invites sealed bids from manufacturers and dealers to furnish water pipe, sewer pipe and storm drain pipe as per the bid specification.  Bids will be received by the Superintendent of Public works in his office in the Town Hall of East Longmeadow, 60 Center Square, East Longmeadow, MA until Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 11:15 am at which time and place bid will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, endorsed with the name and business address of the Bidder and marked “ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR WATER, SEWER AND STORM DRAIN PIPE”.

Any plans and documents, specifications, and bid forms will be available starting  August 21, 2008 from  8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and can be obtained at the Department of Public Works in Town Hall East Longmeadow, 60 Center Square, East Longmeadow, MA., telephone number  413-525-5400.

Estimated contract price is $25,000.00.  Dependent of availability of funds from the Town and State.  Actual purchases under contract will be on an as needed basis with no guarantee of the full $25,000.00 being contracted. 

The Town of East Longmeadow reserves the right to reject any of all bids and to waive any informality in bidding if is in the public interest so to do.
