Chair, George Kingston reported on a meeting with the Conservation Director and the Town Clerk on April 24, 2007 concerning the town Conservation By-law. Referring to the original town meeting minutes, the Town Clerk confirmed that the by-law sections 10.11 and 10.12 were passed by a majority at the May 7, 1990 Town Meeting and are therefore in effect. Upon review of the by-law it was noted that it explicitly states that it is in effect whether or not regulations are adopted. It was also established that it is legal for the town by-law to set stricter standards than the Wetlands Act. The Chair urged all the Commissioners to re-read the bylaw.

The Commissioners all signed that they had read and understood the town sexual harassment policy.
