The Town Clerk’s Office serves as the official keeper of Town records and by-laws as well as coordinating and overseeing elections and voter registration in compliance with Massachusetts General Laws. Administers licenses, registrations and maintains and certifies all vital statistics for the Town. Acts as the Licensing Commission maintaining all current licenses including liquor and entertainment licenses in accordance with State regulations. Serves as clerk to the Town Council and maintains all Town Council and past Town Meeting records.
Collector / Treasurer
The Collectors; prepares tax bills and collects payments. This office also prepares and facilitates the tax-takings of delinquent properties. The Treasurer's; manages the financial accounts of the Town. This office is the custodian of all the tax title and foreclosed properties.
Council on Aging
The Council on Aging supports and promotes the independence and social, physical, and emotional well-being of East Longmeadow elders by implementing and maintaining quality education, nutrition, recreational, and wellness programs.

The mission of the East Longmeadow Fire Department is to protect lives, environment, and property.
The East Longmeadow Health Department, under the guidance of the Board of Health, assesses and addresses the needs of the community in order to help protect and improve the health and quality of life of residents and visitors. This is carried out by the implementation of disease surveillance, health promotion, and environmental health inspections.
The purpose of the Human Resource Department in the Town of East Longmeadow is to effectively manage the human resource functions of the Town including, but not limited to, recruitment, compensation, benefits, collective bargaining, and policies and procedure compliance in accordance with the federal, state and local regulations.
The Information Technology Department provides 24/7 support to all Town Departments, including public safety and the School Department. IT supports desktop computers, servers, virtual servers, hyper-converged server platforms, a 450 phone VOIP platform, wired and wireless networks, public safety radio systems, 200+ security camera system, GIS mapping and spatial analytics, and electronic door access for all buildings.

Planning and Community Development
The Planning and Community Development Department serves as technical and administrative staff to the Town Manager, and staff liaison to Planning Board, Conservation Commission, and Zoning Board of Adjustment, regarding zoning, subdivisions, special permits, variance issues, wetlands protection, and other land use legislation. The department also oversees the creation and implementation of long-range plans
The East Longmeadow Police Department has been established by the citizens to provide them a high level of safety, security, and service.
The Department of Public Works strives to construct, maintain, operate and design public infrastructure in an efficient and effective manner. The Department of Public Works is comprised of five divisions; Highway, Water & Sewer, Building Maintenance and Waste Collection. Each division main objective is to protect the public safety as well as enhance the quality of life for people who live in the Town of East Longmeadow. The DPW continues to work at accomplishing these goals and approach, leaving no roads, buildings or opportunities for improvement left behind.
