East Longmeadow residents are advised that trash pickup will follow the holiday schedule from July 4-5, 2014. There will be no pickup on Friday, July 4th. Friday's pickup will be on Saturday, July 5th. Recycling will follow this same schedule. This is a commingled containers pickup week.

Residents are reminded to put their trash and recyclables out no later than 7:00 a.m. and to leave them out until picked up or 6:00 p.m. In the event that trash has not been picked up by 6:00 p.m. due to poor weather, etc., residents should leave or put their trash out for pickup the next day by 7:00 a.m. Residents that have questions about their pickup should call Republic Services at (413) 557-6700, or the Board of Selectmen’s Office at 525-5400 extension 1100.
