[ARCHIVED] Cyclical Inspections begin March 11th

The Board of Assessors will continue the cyclical inspection program beginning March 11, 2024.  This is a state mandated inspection of all properties in Town.  In accordance with the Department of Revenue guidelines, all property information must be verified at least once every ten (10) years.   A representative from the Assessor’s office will be visiting various properties throughout the town to conduct on-site inspections and will have an East Longmeadow photo ID and their vehicle information will be on record with the East Longmeadow Police Department.

Each inspection typically takes approximately 15 minutes or less and will include an interior and exterior view of the property along with an updating the photograph of the home.  If no one is home at the time of inspection, the data collector will proceed with a measurement of the exterior of the property.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the inspection program, please contact us at 413-525-5400 x1600. Your cooperation with this project is greatly appreciated.
