Income & Expense Deadline Reminder for all Commercial & Industrial Property Owners
The East Longmeadow Board of Assessors is reminding all commercial & industrial property owners of the required submission of their Income & Expense form. The information provided will remain confidential and will be used to establish income and expense schedules for rental properties.
By completing and returning your form, you help ensure the development of a sound basis to estimate the income approach to value. Please be aware this information will be used only to determine “market” income and expense levels for commercial and industrial properties and apartments.
In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, information provided on the Income and Expense form is not open to public inspection. (Ch. 59 Sec. 52B). Please note failure to submit the requested information may result in a penalty added to the ensuing fiscal year tax bill. (Ch. 59, Sec. 38D).
If you own a commercial, industrial, mixed use or apartment property and have not yet submitted your Income & Expense form, we are encouraging you to submit your completed form by extending the deadline to Friday, June 17, 2022 to avoid a penalty. Please note, there are many convenient options to submit your form as follows:

- Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Drop off to the Assessor’s office in person or use the lockbox outside of the town offices.
