All East Longmeadow residents are reminded that dog licenses for 2013 are now available at the Town Clerk’s office in the East Longmeadow Town Hall. The current 2012 dog licenses expire on March 31, 2013. Dog license fees are $10.00 for spayed or neutered dogs and $20.00 for dogs that are not spayed or neutered. All dog licenses need to be renewed on an annual basis.

A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed on April 1, 2013, in addition to the annual license fee on all dogs not licensed by March 31,, 2013.

Proof of rabies vaccination is required on all dogs of six months or older. If the dog has been spayed or neutered, proof must be provided when licensing the dog for the first time. Please call the Town Clerk’s office (525-5400 ext 1000) if you are not sure when your dog’s current rabies shot expires.

If you want your tag delivered to you, please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope and we will mail it to you.
