[ARCHIVED] Early Voting for State Election

EarlyVotingattheLibrary

All registered voters will be able to vote before Election Day in Massachusetts for the upcoming November 6, 2018 General Election per Massachusetts General Law Chapter 54, Section 25B.

Official Specimen Ballot

Early voting can be done in person at the East Longmeadow Public Library Community Room, 60 Center Square, or by mail.  If by mail, voters must complete an Early Voting Application.

Early voting takes place during normal business hours which are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. For public convenience, the Town Clerk is also offering additional hours until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 24th as well as weekend hours on Saturday, October 27th between 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. See full schedule below.

Early voting will begin on October 22, 2018 and continue through November 2, 2018.  Absentee voting will still be an option for those absent from the city or town on Election Day or have a disability that prevents them from going to the polls, or have a religious belief preventing the same.  Absentee voters are always required to complete an Absentee Ballot Application, which should be returned to the Clerk's Office.

Unlike absentee voting, early voting is for every registered voter.  Registered voters do not need an excuse or reason to vote early and they do not need to fill out an application.
