The East Longmeadow Board of Assessors is reminding all commercial & industrial property owners of the approaching deadline for submission of their Income & Expense form.  The information provided will remain confidential and will be used to establish income and expense schedules for rental properties.

By completing and returning your form, you help ensure the development of a sound basis to estimate the income approach to value. Please be aware this information will be used only to determine “market” income and expense levels for commercial and industrial properties and apartments.

In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, information provided on the Income and Expense form is not open to public inspection. (Ch. 59 Sec. 52B). Please note failure to submit the requested information may result in a penalty added to the ensuing fiscal year tax bill. (Ch. 59, Sec. 38D).

If you own a commercial, industrial, mixed use or apartment property and have not yet submitted your Income & Expense form, we have extended the deadline to July 15, 2020 to send or drop off your form.
