Dear ELPS Families, Staff and Stakeholders,

The Federal Government has provided financial support for districts and schools through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021, Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund to address the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The East Longmeadow School District intends to use federal ARP ESSER resources in accordance with the established parameters to address student learning needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic and to promote health and safety for all who use the district campuses. ELPS is seeking feedback from stakeholders to understand community priorities for the use of ESSER funds as we move into the recovery phase of the COVID-19 pandemic.
