[ARCHIVED] Absentee Ballots Available for the June 25, 2013 Special State Election

East Longmeadow residents are reminded that Absentee Ballots are now available in the Town Clerk’s office for the Special State Election to fill former Senator John Kerry’s open seat. The Election will be take place on Tuesday, June 25th, 2013. The election will be held at Birchland Park Middle School for all four precincts and the voting hours will be 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Any voter who will not be in town or able to vote on June 25th may vote earlier in the Town Clerk’s office between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Those who, because of poor health or other reasons, cannot make it to the Town Hall may request an Absentee Ballot in writing to the Town Clerk’s office. Those who have already sent in a request will receive a ballot automatically. New absentee ballot applications must be requested each year for those who need them for each election that year.

The deadline for applying for Absentee Ballots for this election is 12:00 noon on Monday, June 24th, 2013. For further information, please call 525-5400 ext. 1000.
