Pricing should be in the $80 to $90 per month range for a standard 1 Gbps service. We intend to offer additional options for speed and pricing. 

The fiber build-out will be done by fiber service area (FSA). Which FSA gets built out will be determined by several factors, including the amount of expressed interest, infrastructure availability, and completion of make-ready work by the utilities. You do. The Town owns the fiber infrastructure, network equipment, and customer equipment. Whip City Fiber operates the network, performs repairs, completes installs, and manages customer service and billing needs. 

There will not be data caps or throttling. 

Nope! The East Longmeadow fiber offering is completely optional. You can switch if you would like, or you can keep your current provider for any services and sign up for East Longmeadow Fiber! 

Federal and state grants have funded the fiber-to-the-home project design and engineering. The initial build-out will be funded by Town bonding. When residents sign up, the subscriptions will pay the construction fees and fund further deployment. Any additional revenue generated stays in East Longmeadow!
