Community Business Video Project
Small businesses serving the community have always been part of the essential character of East Longmeadow. To recognize the contributions our businesses make on a daily basis to the life and well being of the town, East Longmeadow Community Access Television would like to feature your community businesses with a short video segment, produced with you, for broadcast on our public access channel. This project is our way of supporting our businesses and recognizing the resilience of our community through the challenges of the past year.
There is no cost associated with this project.
We recognize that local companies contribute in many ways, from providing easily accessible products and services, to supporting the community through employment opportunities, business taxes, generous donations of time and resources to civic and charitable organizations, and sponsorship of youth sports and community events.
Please note that ELCAT programming by federal and state statute is NON-COMMERCIAL.
These video features are not advertisements for your business. They can describe your business as offering general products or services, but are intended to promote the values according to which you choose to conduct business and serve the East Longmeadow community.
Video segments will vary in length according to the material available and the creative judgment of the producers. On average, they will run between two and three minutes in length. If you are a business owner, or manager of a business operating in town, and you would like to highlight your community engagement through one of these videos, please click the link below to open the online application form. Please fill out the form completely and submit it. There is no deadline for submission, and again, no fee associated with production of the videos.
Once your application is received, ELCAT staff will review it, arrange a time to meet with you for an interview and arrange for production. With well over 300 businesses in town, production priority will be allocated first to interested businesses with notable and/or long-standing contributions to the community.
We hope you will consider participating in this project, and we look forward to working with you.
